We’re a specialist building company because we choose to work on a small number of projects per year.

Thus values quality workmanship above all else and utilising our resources, expertise and technical knowledge gives you the advantage. The nature of custom builds means challenges will arise, but we’re experienced and equipped to deal with them.

We resolve all council restrictions, demanding site conditions or specified product delays quickly and efficiently. Thus supports you through any obstacle and consults with you in the decision making process to secure the most innovative and effective design and construction solutions.

1Together we'll establish your vision.

We commence the process by helping you articulate your vision and shape the type of residence you desire, appropriate to your budget. A project brief is created that includes aspects such as the size of the dwelling, functionality, overall design style, and so on.

2Help you choose the right designer.

Based on your requirements, Thus will recommend select architects and/or designers and will facilitate a meet and greet. Together we will engage the preferred architect or designer and commence concept designs where fundamental planning decisions are made such as orientation, footprint, location and interior configuration.

3Manage the design and consent process.

Upon establishing the design concept, we continue to work intimately with the designers to arrive at the most efficient way to achieve your new home. The 'council consent' process is handled and submitted by Thus and is broken down into two categories:

1. Planning consent.
All floor plans are refined, elevations drawn up and a site plan is produced to satisfy a planning approval application.

2. Building consent.
All building working drawings and contract documentation is produced to satisfy a building approval application.

Thus steers the whole design and consent process ensuring that we achieve the delicate balance between optimal design intent and affordability.

4Build and deliver your bespoke home.

Upon receiving an approval to build, Thus will commence construction of your bespoke home ensuring every detail is meticulously considered to guarantee the highest standard of craftsmanship.

Thus is led by second-generation builder Michael Pipinias, who has over 25 years experience in the industry.

Michael honed his skills and knowledge at the helm of Adelaide Construction Management, which he founded in 2004. His new builds and renovations are some of the most well respected and admired projects across South Australia. Michael works with clients who expect perfection as a starting point. He understands that being picky, pedantic and precise is essential in delivering award-winning projects.
